Reap in accordance with kindness;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the Lord
Until He comes to rain righteousness on you. ~Hosea 10:12
As I was waiting on Mr. Kureig this morning, the word fallow came to me repeatedly. This is word is for me and everyone else that needs to hear it:
Man was created by God with good soil from a fresh new earth. God formed the dust with His hands and breathed life into him. He gave him instructions of what to do and what not to do, to be fruitful and multiply. Along the way, man’s heart became dormant and restless~fallow.
God can fix anything, period. I don’t care how bad off you are, what situation you’re going through, how deep down you think you are. He gave you life and forged you with His bare hands. He knew you before conception, and He’ll know you in eternity. The problems you face are not from Him, designed by Him, or sent from Him, but He offers the easiest solution. His son, Jesus. He will help you break up the fallow ground once again and prepare it for planting.
You’re not done yet. There’s still more to be planted, more to be cultivated, still more to be harvested. Don’t give up and don’t you give in! You may think you’re formless and void but never forget that the Spirit of the Living God hovers over you!
The farmer tills the ground when the ground is ready. Make yourself ready! Allow the Spirit to break up the fallow ground so the seeds can be dropped into proper placement. The good soil, not fallow ground will bring forth the harvest. Seek the Lord while He can still be found!
