In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple.
Yes I’m still studying Isaiah 6. There’s a lot in these first few verses. This morning, it’s about vision. It’s interesting that someone, namely the king of Judah, died, THEN Isaiah sees his vision….
…sometimes something has to die, or be put to death in order for us to fully realize the potential God has for our lives. For many, it may be a dead-end career, bad relationship, or a past hurt that has to go in order for you to grow.
If there’s no vision, you perish.
Now, King Uzziah’s death had nothing to do with the vision Isaiah had. It’s recorded that way for remembrance. We do the same to remember certain events.
One day you may look back and reflect on your life and say “remember when we made this big decision to do ____?” When you do, there will be something that ceased or stopped in order for the vision to have been carried out!
Be Blessed today! Grow your vision. Include those that are a part of it, put to rest those things that hinder it. Don’t perish, but rather thrive!
