Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Apostle Paul to the church at Galatia.(Galatians 6:7)
Reaping and sowing is an interesting thing. You sow seeds in the ground. Those seeds germinate and die. Then it comes back to life to take on root, to produce a plant, then eventually fruit. The beauty of it all is this: wherever you plant, whatever you plant, good or bad, it WILL produce fruit.
Now consider our current state as a nation.
Eight years ago, we were financially broke from bad seeds planted by the finance and banking industry that runs Wall street. Those seeds were fertilized by the current administration and cultivated to what we have now. Also, they came alongside those seeds and planted a new row of seeds called “moral decline”. That’s the fruit we as a nation are reaping today both financial digression and moral and spiritual decay.
If I plant a watermelon seed, come back later to harvest it, do I call it a potato? Certainly! That’s what our leaders are doing right now. Radical Islam is being filtered as misunderstood and the men and women in blue, protecting us are being labeled as ignorant bigots, bad seeds.
We live in a culture where evil is good, and good is evil. We’ve bought mislabeled seeds from traveling snake oil salespeople in Washington. It’s time to uproot and replant. The fallow ground will need to be turned over in order for the new seeds of life to take root.
As Jesus said, it’s the soil that holds the key to a harvest that yields fruit in these last days.
